Results and Impact | Twenty five participants attended the event which was held at community music organisation Plymouth Music Zone. The aim of the event was to introduce social workers to the findings of the Beyond Words research project and to engage them in activities that would help them to use music to improve their provision for people who don't speak. It was run by the research team in collaboration with Plymouth Music Zone and held as part of the 2017 Festival of Social Science.Participants reported that they will use this in their practice and input from the project has been included in Social Work training at Plymouth University. |
