Results and Impact On the basis of our research into civil society resistance we brought together a range of scholars and civil society activists from around the world to contribute short articles related to our ESRC funded project. The articels covered not only on state crime but on the extraordinary variety of courageous civil society resistance generated by state violence and corruption. The week's special feature, 'State Crime and Resistance' was edited by Penny Green with Tony Ward, Kristian Lasslett, Fatima Kanji, Thomas MacManus and Alicia de la Cour Venning, from openDemocracy's new partnership with the International State Crime Initiative.
