The role of a social housing association in providing place-based health and wellbeing support to residents in the context of a devolving Manchester

This research project proposes to explore the current impact of Devolution within Manchester using mixed methodological approaches to identify the current culture of care towards resident welfare and wellbeing as well as developing community initiatives for marginalised groups. The project will analyse the role of social housing providers in initiating place based regeneration within communities and what front line housing officers can do to reduce social isolation and poor health
