ArtPackAI: Intelligent Art Packaging with AI Optimization

Abstract

Our project, Intelligent Art Packaging with AI Optimization (ArtPackAI), aims to develop an AI-driven solution that will solve a major bottleneck in the operations of SpacePlay, but also to many art companies that want to protect art pieces during shipment. The company needs to ship art pieces in a safe and elegant way, which requires creating foam models that are laser-cut to fit the shape of each art piece. Currently, the company has to manually create a model of each foam sheet to print, which is a time-consuming and resource-intensive process that hinders productivity.

Our solution ArtPackAI involves the use of AI to automate the creation of foam models, reducing the time and resources required to produce them. The impact of this project will be significant for the company's operations, as it will streamline their process and increase productivity. By automating the creation of foam models, the company will be able to take on more orders and serve their customers better. Moreover, the use of AI in the creative industry will set an example for other companies to adopt similar solutions and drive innovation.
