Multi Agent eXchange and Analysis of Data – MAXAD

Lead Participant: NQUIRINGMINDS LIMITED

Abstract

MAXAD is a general purpose edge-based data analytics system, optimised for security, performance and the pragmatic challenges of reasoning over partially trusted data from multiple sources and across multiple agents. It performs data fusion, local worker functions (edge processing), and fine grained context specific data sharing.

Although the data processing principles are general purpose, MAXAD will be prototyped against the intelligent ship, situational awareness problem, integrating multiple data sources available through the BAE Systems INTeACT SDK, external satellite data, external AIS data and further supplemented with historical contextual data of vessels and ports over time.

This is an important problem in that it directly addresses one of the enduring challenges. Challenge 1.1 -- "Processing, Evaluation and Dissemination" by leveraging developments in machine learning and algorithms to increase automation and hence reduce the burden on manpower requirements. Reliably combining data from different sources is critical to addressing this problem.

NquiringMinds are ideally positioned to address this challenge. As experts in both security, trusted computing and AI powered analytics, we have the depth and breadth to deliver value. We have a working relationship with BAE Systems and have prototyped early solutions to similar challenges at both the MoD AI hackathon and the BAE Systems INTeACT SDK codeathon.
