Abstract

The book with the ambivlance that besets much rights discourse today, not only in the churches, and claims that human rights advocacy should remain an integral part of Christian mission in the twenty-first century. Contested issues such as the attribution of legal rights to the unborn and non-human species, human rights in warfare, employment rights in the church, and the meaning of the right to marry in a multi-cultural society are discussed.
