Abstract
The intention of this study is to validate a Performance Management distributed architecture which utilises innovative service centric data mining and advanced software engineering approaches in order to allow Service Level Agreements to be monitored in real-time at a Servcie Operations Centre in bandwidth limited environments. The study assesses the feasibility of employing distributed intelligent processing on performance metric 'big data' using data mining rules uploaded from the Service Operations Centre, the processing based on Services instantiated. Limited bandwidth networks supporting Machine to Machine Services are identified as a good example of where the distributed performance management architecture would be practically applied.
