Abstract
We wish to investigate a new technology that facilitates novel direct marketing/information
push to individuals/groups in context aware ways (eg to advertise a specific product to a
specific customer based on a combination of previous purchasing history, and current scenario
– such as the person’s presence at a particular event). This will utilise an innovative
combination of switchable films, sensors, projection and RFID technologies underpinned by
the development of new business logic and dynamic data/content to provide a targeted and
personalised mechanism for marketing to individuals on the high street and other locations.
