Abstract
This project will establish techniques to join a front end carbon fibre vehicle with powertrain to a minimum mass steel framework for the long wheelbase rear vehicle section that carries the coffin. Joining techniques will be developed appropriate to different parts of the junction between front and rear of the vehicle and tested for strength and fatigue.
