Abstract

The proposal seeks funding to support an international conference on integrable systems, a multi-disciplinary research area between Mathematics and Physics. The UK has a strong standing in this research field. By holding international meetings like the one proposed help to maintain the UK's leading role in this area. More specifically, the grant seeks support for four internationally renowned experts from Japan and the USA to visit the UK and disseminate their expertise through keynote talks.
