Description The main achievements so far of this grant have been the establishment of a ConnectNMR UK website that provides information to the UK NMR community about NMR facilities operating around the country, upcoming NMR conferences and NMR job vacancies and also the funding of NMR workshops and bursaries for students and early career researchers to attend NMR workshops and conferences. Many of the objectives of the project have been delayed because the Covid pandemic has made it difficult/impossible for NMR scientists to visit other NMR facilities around the UK or to attend conferences/workshops in person. The project was restarted with a new project manager in the summer of 2021 and a third project manager was appointed in mid-2022. The Oxford-related activities within the project have mostly involved networking with the UK solution-state biomolecular NMR community. This has been done through links with the CCPN project. Professor Redfield has been a member of the CCPN Executive Committee, representing the ConnectNMR UK project, since 2020.

For a more detailed update please refer to the submission by the main grant PI Prof Frederic Blanc from University of Liverpool (EP/S035958/1).
Exploitation Route We hope that the connections that are forged between NMR research groups in the UK as a result of ConnectNMR UK will continue beyond the scope of the grant.
