Lead Research Organisation: University of Glasgow
Department Name: School of Mathematics & Statistics

Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Results and Impact A brief visit by Roman Gonin in February reported on progress on understanding the representation theory behind the energy-momentum tensor of Zamolodchikov from the view of vertex operator algebras. This might help to understand more deeply the concept of vertex operator algebras which do not satisfy the usual axioms and have been discussed previously by Anguelova in the context of "twisted vertex operator algebras" and Date et. al in the connection with integrable hierarchies, the so-called BKP hierarchy.
