Sussex Curiosity Fairs

Lead Research Organisation: University of Sussex
Department Name: Sch of Mathematical & Physical Sciences

Abstract

The aim of this project is to engage families, particularly with primary school aged children, in Sussex with ongoing local STEM activities through a series of Curiosity Fairs, with a specific focus on increasing diversity of the audience from lower socio-economic locations.

Planned Impact

We plan to share feedback and information about the events (including best practice) through a simple dedicated website, with the UK Science Festivals Network, and through science communicator groups.
