Upcycled World

Upcycled World is an online ecosystem where suppliers, makers, buyers, educators and advisors can interact and trade in all aspects of the upcycling value chain.

Upcycled World is creating a unique combination of an AI-driven upcycled component supply chain, which incentivises supply chain partners to process waste into recyclable components, alongside a separate generative AI that can create new-to-the-world products and objects that are imagined and then constructed from components in the supply chain by buyers and makers.

Upcycling protects already spent carbon from entering landfill (whole carbon loss) and from being recycled (part carbon loss due to recycling effort) whilst enabling the production of equivalently 'new' products that have low carbon associated with production. Upcycled World intends to measure this protective action by creating a Carbon Protection Measure which will inform consumer choice.

All of these applications combined with an online marketplace will form the core of the ecosystem and will provide a new way for all of us to think about what can happen to material once we as individuals no longer have further use for it.
