Abstract
MyPrintPod is a 3d printing factory allowing local businesses and the general public to gain access to the advantages of 3d printing ''next door", rather than a remote printing bureau or investing in their own technology.
By providing a local service, customers can send their prints to be manufactured, either by the MyPrintPod app, or by turning up in person to a pod and handing over a data key. Local experts can then view what you want to print and advise you before committing to manufacture. Later, when the part is produced, you can then nip back and take the part away. This gets around having to wait for the courier service to bring back the finished part - which might matter if you need the item urgently.
Finally MyPrintPod is sustainable, using only recycled materials and powered by 100% green energy helping you get your components whilst still loving the planet.
