Lead Participant: GE Aviation Systems Limited

TULIP is a collaborative research project between GE Aviation, The University of Nottingham, and Turbo Power Systems.
TULIP is developing technologies and techniques to reduce the size and weight of power electronics assemblies, whilst enhancing electrical performance and reliability. TULIP is investigating a modular integrated approach to power electronics. Example products that would benefit from TULIP innovation are train seat power supplies and aircraft power distribution systems. Within the project the industrial partners have demonstrated practical solutions to real problems based upon university developments.
