Abstract
A business built on the premise of celebrating the beauty of individuality and building confidence. We recognise the significance of role models, and working with someone who understands what it's like to walk a mile in your shoes, in a world that usually feels like it excludes you.
_The Life PT brings Diversity Equity and Inclusion to the forefront and is created with those who fall into underrepresented groups in mind. By combining the power of lived experience with corporate experience to bridge the gap, we have created a credible coaching/mentoring service, designed and led by someone with both lived and corporate experience, who understands the needs of both sides, to create a truly impactful and accessible offering._
_The service can be accessed via two channels: firstly working in collaboration with organisations to support their existing DEI strategy and development programs through coaching, mentoring and role modelling; and secondly, by combining this offer with a subscription-based, self-led platform to target audiences without corporate backing. By making personal development more accessible and affordable for the customers we serve, who would otherwise be unable to access this support, The Life PT helps individuals to build self-belief, self -awareness and self-management skills._

Diverse teams can see a 12% increase in performance, revenue can rise by up to 19%, and working in inclusive workplaces is important to nearly 80% of candidates looking to move jobs._
As a disabled, ethnically diverse individual, I know first-hand the challenges faced in trying to develop in a world that isn't built for you; it feels a lot like fitting a square peg into a round hole. In my past career, when I looked above me, I rarely saw anyone that looked like me, and this made me feel like an outsider.
There is a proverb that says, "What you hear, you forget; what you see, you remember; and what you do, you understand." Through coaching, I look to inspire, support, and empower. I believe in upgrading your mindset and not downgrading your dreams to match your current circumstances.
