Transforming the Role of Visualisation in New Product Development
Lead Participant:
SIMPACT ENGINEERING LIMITED
Abstract
Simpact provide engineering support to make products meet functional requirements such as safety, strength and stiffness. They believe that engineering has stalled in the UK and they are on a mission to change the way products are designed and developed. They believe that keeping it simple works well in Engineering and many other disciplines and believe that this project will act as a catapult in growing businesses back to pre-pandemic levels.
The project will, in the early stages of the product definition phase, enable effective testing and optimisation in the design development phase by the innovative application creative and immersive technologies. The project will benefit the local area and will showcase results through diverse UK market sector examples. Transforming the role of visualisation in new product development will be led by Simpact (located in the heart of the Silicon Spa) and will draw on specialist 3D visualisation expertise and facilities in the Coventry & Warwickshire area.
