An innovative data-driven platform that uses AI to create effective corporate DEI strategies and improve career opportunities for marginalised groups

Lead Participant: CLUSIVITY LTD

Abstract

Clusivity is a UK-based people analytics SME led by Meera Somji (project lead) and Andrew Carney (technical lead).

The many corporate benefits of DEI include attracting top talent and improving financial performance. Without embracing DEI effectively, potential employees reject job offers, employee discrimination continues, and staff turnover affects morale and productivity. In the long term, ineffective DEI strategies hinder innovation and slow UK economic growth. To address these issues, Clusivity is developing a comprehensive, data-driven DEI platform that integrates advanced AI and systematically improves workplace diversity, equity and inclusion. Enabling companies to have effective EDI strategies will benefit marginalised groups, including ethnic minorities, women, non-binary, LGBTQ+, disabled and low-income individuals. Without it, they will continue to be affected by discrimination, hindered career opportunities and poor mental health. Clusivity will be the first to leverage advanced AI technology to provide an accurate, cost-effective solution that offers data-driven insights to measure impacts. Accessible to any business, this practical DEI data helps address bias and discrimination.
