Anti-Racism Brand platform

Lead Participant: BRAND BY ME LIMITED

Abstract

The Anti-Racism brand platform will provide an online space for learning, assessment and practical action specifically for brands. It helps leaders understand their brands' role in tackling racism in society to embed anti-racism into their brand for the long term. 2020 saw many brands make anti-racism pledges and promises, as part of the infamous "Black Square" summer, however many companies have not delivered on these. This tool is designed to help brand marketers drive practical change using the power of technology. As Professor Angela Davies says "In a racist society, it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.". It is time for brands to help tackle systemic racism at scale, and use their reach and power to make a difference and this tool is designed to help them do it in a really practical way. We are looking forward to helping brands be part of the wider movement for change.
