Net Zero Cement Mega Factory Commercialisation Plan
Lead Participant:
MATERIAL. EVOLUTION LTD.
Abstract
**Material Evolution**, a UK-based climate technology business, is on a mission to rapidly and radically decarbonise industrial materials. We're tackling the significant environmental impact of cement production, a sector responsible for a staggering 8% of global CO2 emissions.
Through the power of AI and cutting-edge science, we've developed revolutionary low-carbon and even carbon-negative cements. These are produced at ambient temperatures using recycled waste materials and outperform existing cements in all measurable standards.
Now, we aim to bring our innovative solutions to market at an accelerated pace. This project proposes building a **net-zero cement mega-factory**, capable of producing over 1.2 million tonnes of cement annually, while simultaneously avoiding over 1 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
By securing this grant, we will develop a robust commercialisation plan that paves the way for building **net-zero cement mega-factory**.This project has the potential to significantly reduce the environmental impact of construction, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
