Abstract
This project will define and evaluate the impact and effect of UK e-Government information policy in the UK. It will assess in the context of other related policies/regulation (including the EU) governing public access to information, improvement of information services for the citizen, crown copyright regulation and development of standards for electronic information service delivery across government. The project will consider the central question of what motivates the e-Government information agenda at this time and the extent to which its present form is consistent with the objectives and direction of the related policies outlined above.
