Results and Impact CERN held a series of open-days over the span of 3 days in which the general public could attend tours of many of the detector and accelerator technologies as well as exhibits covering the entire range of work done on site. I was a volunteer on all 3 days, initially providing guided tours of the ATLAS underground cavern and then for the next two days I was based at an exhibit of the new Small Wheel components to be added to the detector cavern during the next long shut down. For this I led groups and provided information about the existing detector technologies and information about the new construction.
