Lead Research Organisation: Cardiff University
Department Name: Sch of Social Sciences

Abstract

To develop an understanding of the ways in which teachers plan and perform classroom tasks in response to the Digital Competence Framework (DCF). To consider the broader social implications of the DCF, particularly the construction and understanding of the digital within our daily lives. Using ethnographic methods, participant and non-participant observations of classrooms, interviews and analysis of policy documents are proposed.
