Time Travel Debugging In Asynchronous Actor System Applications
Lead Research Organisation:

Abstract
I will be working on ways to use these heap snapshots to restore the program to a previous state,
with the ultimate goal of permitting time traveldebugging, at least in the same virtual machinethe snapshotting system was tested on.
The purpose of this research is to create efficient debugging tools to that end: as such, I hope to find ways to allow efficient, fine-grained backwards stepping through code, as well as pinpointing when and where race conditions can occur.
