Abstract
Particle research will be carried out for the LHCb experiment at CERN. The project is a mixture of the analysis of the data taken by LHCb and the development of instrumentation for the LHCb Upgrade II. The analysis project is the measurement of the charm cross-section with the early data dat from LHCb Upgrade. The instrumentation project is on characterising a CMOS sensor for the mighty tracker.
