| Description | The grant was a partnering award, promoting exchange and collaboration between scientists in Manchester and the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing. This has greatly improved communication between researchers at the two locations, which will further strengthen research links between the two partners At least 3 ongoing scientific collaborations have already arisen out of the grant. This has resulted in three scientific manuscripts that have been published, on circadian rhythms, on protein trafficking and on Golgi function, in discipline of cell and developmental biology. |

These have involved presentations from investigators at both locations, as well as additional attendees from the two host sites. In addition, there have been exchanges of research staff between the two sites to carry out experimental work. |
