Description We used this UK USA travel grant to build our collaboration with Prof. Teresa Dunn and explore the inhibition of SPT by the inhibitor myriocin. This resulted in the determination of the structure of the SPT:myriocin complex which was published in a high impact paper in JACS 2013. It also led to the award of the BBSRC grant BB/M003493/1
Exploitation Route The structure of the SPT:myriocin complex will help in the development of novel therapeutic agents.
