Description This Partnering award has resulted in the successful application to the BBSRC-Embrapa Pump-Priming award.

It has supported the short placement of 2 PhD students at NIAB, the 1st having successfully completed their PhD.
Exploitation Route We have submitted a proposal to the BBSRC-Embrapa Wheat call. This is application was successful.

Description This Brazil-UK Partnering award has now reached its end date. Two Brazilian PhD students have spent 6 months working in the UK, and staff from NIAB have visited with researchers in Brazil. This Partnering award supported a collaboration between NIAB and Brazilian partners that led to the successful Embrapa Wheat award, a collaboration that is ongoing.
