| Description | The aim of the project was to engage a consultancy to assess the potential viability of a business offering an analytical service for the measurement of free asparagine in food matrices in which the formation of acrylamide was a potential problem. IP Pragmatics were engaged, and there was input from the Rothamsted KEC team as well as the PI and Tanya Curtis, who had previously been part of the PI's team. IP Pragmatics delivered a report in February 2017, concluding that 'a business offering a competitively priced test could be viable and in time expand to offer testing for other amino acids and other contaminants using the same platform'. |
