Description This is an international partnering award. We organised and held a meeting in Buenos Aires, Argentina on 29-31 October 2018, which was attended by senior representatives from INTA and CONICET in Argentina as well as from BBSRC and NERC, and which helped pave the way for commitments to look for ways to co-fund future activities. Alberto Acevedo is visiting our labs from March-May 2020 to work on our collaborative research. Simon McQueen-Mason is working with BBSRC to help develop a potential funding area of global carbon for manufacturing. Covid restrictions on travel meant that not all proposed visits in the project took place.
Exploitation Route We hope to help facilitate some joint funding for sustainable bio-manufacturing involving the UK, Brazil and Argentina
