Description Visit to the potato growers in NW Argentina has supported the consideration for adoption of new tools (mathematical models) to track crop performance. The partners in Argentina have implemented genome editing technologies to advance the management of potato storage. Evidence from these studies supported NIAB's position regarding the advantages of the use of these technologies. NIAB actively contributed to the Defra consultation focused on genome editing and new breeding technologies.
