| Description | This was an award to specifically and only support travel to a University in Sweden to discuss science with two different groups there. Stimulating discussions were had over the period of a few days both Professors and their groups. The discussions helped formulate new hypotheses and ideas for future work, which are currently being developed further by MvdW (see output of main grant). A return visit by Prof Anderson was organised as well. Prof Andersson gave a seminar on evolution of antimicrobial resistance that was very well attended from across disciplines. He met many of my colleagues for the first time, saw the York Technology Facility, which together supports building new networks for York in AMR and supporting the career development of an independent fellow at York (Bottery). |
