Description | We have developed a robotic framework to give positive impact on the training processes of practitioners. We conducted thorough interviews and workshop to discuss the practical needs and challenges with the practitioners, and started investigating the solutions toward these findings. One of the main outcome of this project is to develop a robotic platform of physical palpation that can be control by human users while evaluating the physical contact quality. |
Exploitation Route | We submitted an additional funded research proposal to take the findings forward to be used in more practical situations, possibly including more practitioners and equipment manufacturers. |
Sectors | Digital/Communication/Information Technologies (including Software) Education Electronics Healthcare |
Description | Discussions with actual practitioners have led to mutual understanding of practical needs and technological challenges to be investigated collectively in the future. A number of younger students have expressed their interests in studying and researching in this area of technologies. |
