Description We have found how best to implement a particular kind of optimisation algorithm, for real-time use, on field-programmable gate arrays.
Exploitation Route They will be developed further and adapted to the requirements of specific applications, primarily in the automotive, electric drives, aerospace and defence sectors.
Sectors Aerospace, Defence and Marine,Agriculture, Food and Drink,Chemicals,Electronics,Energy,Manufacturing, including Industrial Biotechology,Transport

Description Our findings have been used by other researchers in the field of Model Predictive Control, and by ourselves in subsequent research. The findings relate to the implementation of Model Predictive Control algorithms as 'embedded software' using processors of limited capability (such as FPGAs).
