Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description In partnership with TU Vienna we have developed adaptive solvers for 3 dimensional electrostatic problems. Adaptive solvers provide an automatic way to obtain high accuracy solutions to electrostatic problems and form an important algorithmic ingredient to generate the classification data for electromagnetic objects in this grant.
Exploitation Route We have received funding from EPSRC for the development of Exascale ready boundary element software. Electromagnetic and FEM/BEM coupled problems are a particular focus here. This will allow us to develop novel simulation software that will make it possible to implement more complex polarization tensor computations.
