Abstract

Abstracts are not currently available in GtR for all funded research. This is normally because the abstract was not required at the time of proposal submission, but may be because it included sensitive information such as personal details.

Description Piezoelectric coefficient in PMN-PT is dependent upon domain wall density and is augmented by domain wall broadening rather than domain wall translation.

An alternative lead free piezoelectric material system was identified known as KBMN-KBT; optimisation is still on-going.
Exploitation Route The findings will help develop new materials.
