Abstract
Transforming Place is programme of comparative international research that will provide UK policymakers with evidence-based and actionable insights to support the social and economic transformation of local areas.
They will generate new, policy-relevant knowledge on the drivers of place transformation by unpicking local area transformations in other OECD countries and work to make this relevant to the UK context.
They will also focus on the development and dissemination of practical tools to support policymakers in putting these insights into action; and peer learning and international exchange to build the political will and capacity to act.
