Title UKSeRP (UK Secure eResearch Platform) 
Description UKSeRP is a secure data management and analysis platform created through MRC's capital investment in the Farr Institute. It is an integrated suite of hardware and software tools that enables uses to upload and remotely manage their data and make the data available for analysis to distributed research teams. UKSeRP instances have been created for the MRC Dementias Platform UK, UK Biobank outcome adjudication group, ALSPAC, linked Millennium Cohort Data and the Multiple Sclerosis Register.

This was part of a workshop at the EUPHA Conference, Stockholm: Designing an ERIC (European Research Infrastructure Consortium) on health information to maximize research and evidence-based policy making. It led to widespread discussion. The EU subsequently funded the €5M InFact project: Joint Action on Health Information towards a sustainable EU health information system that supports country knowledge, health research and policy-making.
