| Description | Whilst on secondment to DECC I was jointly awarded The Science, Engineering and Technology Award at The Civil Service Awards 2010, for my contribution to the team working on the 2050 Pathways Report which was published in 2010. I helped write 5 chapters, including the chapter on transport in collaboration with the Department for Transport. I also conducted a number of independent internal research projects on low carbon vehicles, energy security, biofuels and low carbon development in emerging economies, and wrote briefing notes for Ministers on a number of subjects including European legislation on emissions targets for vehicles. |
