| Description | This was a small ESRC placement fellowship in which Kirsty Rowlinson from the Hampshire CVS spent a few months in the third sector research centre in 2010-11. Key findings concerned the usage of infrastructure services by local voluntary organisations with relevant findings about the differences between organisations that used such services and those that did not. |

| Description | This award was worth c. 10K at 2010 prices and funded a short-term placement, so that is the context for reporting on it some years later. We know that the findings were shared with local organisations such as councils for voluntary service. We know that they found them interesting and useful. Whether they were then in a position to use the findings is an interesting question. Many of the organisations concerned, within a year of this project being done, were facing significant funding cuts due to austerity so unlikely that they were able to progress the work much further. |
