Description Our publication on 4D imaging of the fetal intracardiac Doppler flow provided the methodology recently implemented in some commercially successful ultrasound scanners (e.g., GE and Philips).

Impact We have already initiated discussions with our industrial collaborators on the feasibility of transferring our segmentation software from the fetal cardiac application to wider clinical applications. For this reason, we are trying to make a balance between commercial confidentiality and academic freedom to publish the latest research results. Dynamic 3D imaging is a generic imaging tool. Combined with minimally compressive scanning techniques we have developed, clinicians have now joined us to facilitate the new techniques for evaluation of facial palsy (Patel 2004), erectile dysfunction (Chatterjee et al. 2004), and clitoral erectile complex. The algorithm for 3D MR imaging of the artificial urinary sphincter has been implemented in the MGI 3D Workstation which is marketed by UCL Business.
