Description Professor Vargha-Khadem at the Institute of Child Health

PI Contribution A planned interaction with Professor Vargha-Khadem at the Institute of Child Health to study working memory in the case of developmental amnesia. The proposed work has been completed and is in process of being written up. It was not however possible to run this project until a good deal of basic developmental work had been completed. During this time we collaborated on other projects which have led to further funding and publications.

Results and Impact In addition press interviews in Bilbao, Bratislava, Turku, Cagliari and Vancouver on various aspects of memory. Baddeley has also lectured as part of the Brain Awareness week for the European Dana Alliance of the Brain last year and will again do so this year, and has talked about memory to schools in York and elsewhere.
