The report was launched in the European Parliament on 29th November 2012 (http://euapm.eu/news/12). The personalised medicine agenda is being carried forward by the Irish Presidency and the European Association of Personalised Medicine who have built on the iNNOVAHEALTH recommendations through working groups and these recommendations were discussed at a conference in Dublin on 21st March 2013.

Impact It had led to number of interactions across the SEWAHSP community and wider with participants from across Wales and England. Although focussed on regional activity with the linked funding scheme only being available to SEWAHSP members this has generated much wider interest. 187 people have joined the forum as of Nov 2013 (launched in June 2013). Update - the Scheme continued to become Health Technology Challenge Wales in 2014 with over 420 members as of Nov 2014.

PI Contribution We are working with SEWAHSP to support their Industry Strategy and we have partnered to support a new initiative, the Health Technology Challenge Scheme - details under Further Funding. We have also brought SEWAHSP involvement into the Welsh government Twinning Initiative with Medicon Village in Sweden. CS subsequently started a half time post with SEWAHSP to continue to run the Health Technology Challenge Scheme which has now expanded to an All Wales initiative and to work on projects increasing innovation in the NHS.
Collaborator Contribution SEWAHSP are supporting initiatives aimed at introducing Clinical pull and clinical input into translational research.
