Description | Our main findings were that children's developing counterfactual thinking was underpinned by general cognitive development, specifically inhibitory control and language development. We also showed that several measures of counterfactual thinking produced comparable findings and we investigated and published a failure to replicate one measure. |
Exploitation Route | Our findings will inform researchers on children's and adults' cognition. |
