Description Provided the first estimates for the state of the electoral registers in Britain for almost a decade. Developed new approaches taken up in later Electoral Commission research.
Exploitation Route It has since been taken up by the Electoral Commission.

Description They have been cited in multiple parliamentary debates, resulted in 2 invitations to me to give evidence to Commons select committees, and an invitation to present to the ONS Beyond 2011 group on the future of the Census. I also presented the research findings to electoral administrators in Scotland on two occasions, updated some of the findings to produce a literature review for the Cabinet Office and took part in a British Academy Policy Centre debate with the Minister for Constitutional Reform, the Chair of the Electoral Commission and other senior figures involved in debates about reforms to electoral registration.
