Description We contributed to the national effort for the verification and testing of the LAr-TPC Anode Plane Assembly (APA) electronics for DUNE.
We continued to lead on reconstruction efforts for the fine-grained calorimeter data, which is critical to DUNE.
We introduced and led Pandora ND, a full reconstruction framework in Pandora (the DUNE FD SW choice) for all DUNE Near Detectors (ND). Pandora NDLAr is now operationally working in native 3D and is being used for the 2x2 prototype at Fermilab (the first DUNE Detector to sit in a neutrino beam). This included designing and implementing the electronics racks, purity monitors, and light readout.
Exploitation Route For the future, a complete Pandora reconstruction suite & analysis tools could be built for the DUNE Far & Near detectors, and protoDUNE. More ambitious plans could be followed to create a suite for all LAr detectors (online and planned) globally.
