Description Design, prototyping and construction of the Silicon Tracker for the R3B experiment at GSI/FAIR, including a new custom ASIC.
Exploitation Route - Other Nuclear Physics projects (e.g. ISOL) will benefit from the developments for the R3B Silicon Tracker.
- Such tracking devices could be of interest for beam tracking at medical facilities e.g. proton therapy or heavy-ion therapy.
