Arpino L (2019) BSM W W production with a jet veto in Journal of High Energy Physics

Description Our research highlighted and investigated the importance of signal and background contributions beyond tree level (one-loop) and specifically interference effects between such contributions for searches for additional Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider. Furthermore, we studied the jet veto in W boson pair production and its effect on Beyond-the-Standard Model contributions and the significance of the resummation of large logarithms in this context.
Exploitation Route The first study can and should be extended beyond one-loop level when the required techniques and tools become available. The second study resulted in a computer code that is of general use and should be applied to study jet veto effects in other BSM scenarios.
