Results and Impact Explorathon is an annual public outreach and engagement event organised as part of European Researchers' Night with events organised across Scotland. The Glasgow event was an evening of educational activities at the Glasgow Science Centre with stalls and presentations from various research departments. The event was well attended by a wide range of age groups including families with young, high school aged children and undergradutes.

Results and Impact As part of the Glasgow Science Festival the activity aimed to engage and educate families and young children about the recent detection of gravitational waves with a hands on craft activity. The activity was run over three days of the festival and well attended by families, students and members of the pulic with an interest in science.
